Why This Matters
Previously, closing a job on LinkedIn meant losing the listing entirely. If the same role opened again, the only option was to create a new job and go through the full setup flow again.
Now you can repost a closed LinkedIn job in one click.
How to Repost a LinkedIn Job
Go to your Jobs list.
Find the job you want to repost. It should be in a closed or inactive state on LinkedIn.
Click the Repost button on that job.
The job is immediately reposted to LinkedIn with the same title, description, requirements, and settings as the original listing.
📌 Note: The Repost button only appears on jobs that were previously posted to LinkedIn and have since been closed. It will not appear on jobs that were never posted to LinkedIn.
💡 Tip: If you want to make changes to the job before reposting, edit the job first and then use the Repost button. The updated version will go live on LinkedIn.
