Track Requisition Status

Learn how to track a requisition's status in Recruitera and what each status — from Draft to Filled — means.

Once a requisition is raised, you can follow it from draft to filled at any time. Recruitera keeps every step visible so you always know where a request stands. Available to members with requisition access.

Where to track status

On the requisition list, cards are grouped into collapsible status bands, and the Status filter narrows to the ones you want. Open any requisition to see its approval flow in the Details sidebar — the steps, who approved or rejected, and any rejection reason.

What each status means

  • Draft — still being filled in; not yet submitted.

  • Pending — under review by approvers.

  • Auto-approved — approved automatically (no approval flow required).

  • Approved — signed off and ready to hire against.

  • Rejected — an approver declined it (usually with a reason); it can be resubmitted.

  • Withdrawn — pulled back by the requester.

  • On hold — paused.

  • Hiring in progress — a job is open and hiring against it.

  • Filled — the openings have been hired.

  • Closed — closed out.
