Every Recruitera plan includes an annual job limit plus 50 unlock credits. The annual limit controls how many unique jobs you can create and post over the full year. The 50 unlock credits extend your capacity beyond that ceiling — each unlock lets you post one additional job. All three plans include 50 unlocks regardless of tier.
Annual job limits by plan
Plan | Jobs / Year | Unlock Credits |
Basic | 5 jobs | 50 unlocks |
Pro | 7 jobs | 50 unlocks |
Enterprise | 10 jobs | 50 unlocks |
How the annual job limit works
The annual job limit counts how many total unique job posts you create across the full contract year — regardless of whether those jobs are currently active, closed, or archived. Once you reach your annual limit, you need to use unlock credits to create additional jobs.
How unlock credits work
Unlock credits are a pool of 50 additional job posting credits included with every plan. Each credit unlocks the ability to create and post one additional job beyond your annual limit. Credits are consumed when used and do not replenish mid-year. They give you a meaningful buffer for high-hiring periods without requiring a full plan upgrade.
💡 With Basic you can post up to 55 unique jobs per year (5 base + 50 unlocks). Pro allows up to 57, and Enterprise up to 60 — before needing to discuss additional capacity with your account manager.
Annual limit vs. active slots — the key difference
These are two independent limits. The annual limit tracks total unique jobs created over 12 months. Active slots track how many can be live simultaneously at any moment. A job counts toward your annual limit as soon as it is created, whether it is published or in draft. A job only occupies an active slot while it is in a Published state.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when I use all my annual job credits in Recruitera?
When you exhaust your annual job limit in Recruitera, Recruitera will prompt you to use your unlock credits to post additional jobs. Each unlock credit allows one additional job post. Once both your annual limit and 50 unlock credits are used, contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss options — this may include purchasing additional unlock packs or discussing a plan upgrade depending on your volume needs.
Do unlock credits carry over to the next year in Recruitera?
Unlock credits in Recruitera are tied to your current annual contract period. Unused credits do not carry over to the next contract year — they expire at renewal. If you have remaining unlocks near the end of your contract, use them for any upcoming roles before renewal. At renewal, your 50 unlock credits reset along with your annual job limit for the new contract year.
Does closing or archiving a job restore my annual job credit in Recruitera?
Closing or archiving a job in Recruitera frees an active job slot — allowing you to publish a new job in that slot. However, it does not restore your annual job credit. The annual limit counts unique jobs created, and once a job is created it consumes one credit regardless of its current status. Only active slot capacity is recovered when you close a job, not the annual posting credit.
