Recruitera's filter sidebar lets you narrow down candidates in the pipeline by applying one or more filters simultaneously — by stage, status, source, location, team member, screening answers, and more. Filters apply instantly as you select them, and each active filter appears as a removable chip so you always know what's active. The filter sidebar is available in Table view only.

Where to find it: Open any job → Pipeline tab → switch to Table view → Filter icon
How to open the filter sidebar
Open a job and go to the Pipeline tab.
Switch to Table view using the view toggle in the top-right corner.
Click the Filter icon to open the filter sidebar on the left side of the candidate table.
The sidebar is collapsible on desktop — click the Filter icon again to hide it without losing your active filters.
How to apply a filter
Open the filter sidebar.
Find the filter category you want — for example, Stage, Status, or Source Tag.
Click on the category to expand it.
Select one or more values from the list.
The candidate table updates instantly as you make each selection. You do not need to click Apply.
How filter chips work
Every active filter appears as a chip at the top of the candidate table. Each chip shows the filter name and selected value. To remove a single filter, click the ✕ on its chip. To remove all filters at once, click Clear All.
Filter categories available
Recruitera's filter sidebar includes the following categories:
Status — Qualified, Disqualified, New, Overdue
Stage — any stage in the current job's pipeline
Source Tag — where the candidate came from
Candidate Origin — Career site, Referral, Manual, Referred
Disqualification — type and reason
CV — Has CV / No CV
Team — Added By, Evaluated By, Followed By
Screening Questions — filter by specific question and answer
Questionnaire — received/answered status
Location — area and country
💡 Each filter category supports multi-select — you can select multiple values within the same category. Candidates matching any of the selected values are shown ("is any of" logic within a category).
Frequently asked questions
How do I open the filter sidebar in Recruitera?
To open the filter sidebar in Recruitera, go to a job's Pipeline tab and switch to Table view using the view toggle in the top-right corner. Then click the Filter icon to open the sidebar. The filter sidebar is not available in Kanban view — you must be in Table view to access it.
Do I need to click Apply after selecting a filter in Recruitera?
No — filters in Recruitera apply instantly the moment you select a value. The candidate table updates in real time without needing to click any Apply or Search button. Can I use multiple filters at the same time in Recruitera?
Recruitera supports combining multiple filters simultaneously across different categories. For example, you can filter by Stage = "Interview" AND Source Tag = "LinkedIn" AND Status = "Qualified" all at once. Each additional filter narrows the results further. Within a single category, selecting multiple values shows candidates matching any of those values. Across categories, only candidates matching all selected categories are shown.
