How to Clear Filters in Recruitera

Learn how to clear filters in Recruitera — remove individual filter chips, clear all filters at once, or deselect specific values from multi-select filters.

Recruitera gives you two ways to remove active filters — clearing individual filters one at a time using filter chips, or resetting everything at once with the Clear All button. Knowing how to clear filters quickly keeps your pipeline review moving without getting stuck in a filtered view.

How to remove a single filter in Recruitera

Every active filter appears as a chip at the top of the candidate table. Each chip shows the filter name and selected value. To remove one filter without affecting the others:

  1. Find the filter chip at the top of the table.

  2. Click the on the chip.

The table updates instantly and the remaining filters stay active.

How to clear all filters at once in Recruitera

  1. Click the Clear All button — visible at the top of the filter chips area or inside the filter sidebar.

All active filters are removed simultaneously and the table resets to show all candidates in the pipeline.

💡 Closing the filter sidebar does not clear your active filters — it only hides the sidebar. Your filters remain active even when the sidebar is collapsed. Always use Clear All or remove individual chips to deactivate filters.

How to remove a specific value from a multi-select filter

If you selected multiple values within a single filter category and want to remove just one value without clearing the whole category:

  1. Open the filter sidebar.

  2. Expand the filter category.

  3. Deselect the specific value you want to remove.

The table updates instantly.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reset all filters in Recruitera?

To reset all filters in Recruitera, click the Clear All button at the top of the filter chips area or inside the filter sidebar. This removes every active filter simultaneously and returns the candidate table to its unfiltered state. The Clear All button only appears when at least one filter is active. Your search bar term is separate from filters — clearing filters does not clear the search bar.

Does closing the filter sidebar remove my filters in Recruitera?

No — closing or collapsing the filter sidebar in Recruitera does not remove your active filters. Your filters remain applied even when the sidebar is hidden. The filter chips at the top of the candidate table show which filters are still active. To remove filters, click the ✕ on individual chips or click Clear All — regardless of whether the sidebar is open or closed.

Does clearing filters also clear my search term in Recruitera?

In Recruitera, the search bar and filter sidebar are independent. Clicking Clear All removes all active filters but does not clear the search bar term. Similarly, clearing the search bar does not affect active filters. You need to clear each one separately — use Clear All for filters and delete the text in the search bar to reset the search.
