How to Customize a Job's Social Sharing and SEO in Recruitera

Learn how to set a job's social sharing preview and SEO in Recruitera, and use per-platform share links with source attribution.

The Social Sharing tab controls how a job looks when it's shared or found in search, and gives you ready-made share links that track where applicants came from. Editing a job needs the manage-jobs permission.

Before you start

  • Required role: a role with the Manage jobs permission

  • Where to find it: Jobs → Edit a job → Social Sharing

What you can set

  • SEO title, description, and image — how the job appears when shared on social media or shown in search, with a live preview.

  • Per-platform share links — ready-to-use links for each channel that carry a source tag (?ref=), so applications are attributed to where you posted them.

The Social Sharing tab

💡 This tab auto-saves — there's no separate Save button, so your changes are kept as you make them.

Frequently asked questions

How does the share link track a source?

Each share link includes a source tag in its URL, so candidates who apply through it are attributed to that channel in your reporting.

Where does the SEO image show?

It's the preview image used when the job link is shared on social apps or messaging, and it appears in the live preview on this tab.
