Archiving takes a job out of your active lists without losing it — the way to retire a job you're done with. You archive from the Jobs list. This needs the manage-jobs permission.
Before you start
Required role: a role with the Manage jobs permission
Where to find it: Jobs
How to archive a job
On the Jobs list, open the job's Actions menu (⋯).
Choose Archive.
The job moves to the Archived scope and leaves your active lists.
How to bring a job back
Open the Archived scope in the left rail, find the job, and choose Unarchive from its Actions menu to restore it.
💡 Archiving keeps the job and its data — it's the standard way to remove a job from circulation rather than deleting it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I archive several jobs at once?
Archive jobs from each job's Actions menu. Use the Archived scope to review everything you've archived in one place.
Does archiving delete the job?
No. Archiving only moves the job out of your active lists; it stays under the Archived scope and can be unarchived any time.
