Send Automated Emails in Your Workflow

Recruitera will automatically send an email whenever a candidate enters that stage in your workflow.

Automated emails in Recruitera help you communicate with candidates faster and more consistently — without sending every message manually.

Once you add this automation, Recruitera will automatically send an email whenever a candidate enters that stage in your workflow.

Go to Your Workflow Settings

From your dashboard: Jobs → Select a Job → Edit → Workflow tab

Find the stage where you want the email to be sent automatically (for example, Applied or Interview Scheduled).

Add an Automated Email

Click the ➕ Add Automation icon next to the stage.
Select Send Email.

Then fill in the details:

  • Subject: The email title candidates will see.

  • CC/BCC: Add any additional recipients (optional).

  • Body: Write your message or choose from your Email Templates.

  • Use placeholders like: First Name, Last Name, Job title, and Company Name

💡 You can upload attachments (PDF, Word, Images, up to 50 MB) if you need to include forms or company info.


Choose or Create a Template

Click Pick a Template to select one of your pre-saved email templates, or write a new one directly in the editor.

📌 Templates keep your communication consistent and save you time — especially for recurring stages like “Application Received” or “Interview Invitation.”


Save and Test It

Once you’re done, click Save.


From now on, Recruitera will automatically send that email whenever a candidate moves into this stage.

That’s it!
You’ve now added an automated email to your workflow — keeping communication fast, personal, and consistent without extra effort.
