What is inside the Evaluation Summary

Updated this week

The Evaluation Summary gives you a consolidated view of all feedback submitted for a candidate — including quick evaluations and structured evaluation templates. It helps hiring teams understand overall performance at a glance and make informed decisions.

1. Average Evaluation Score

At the top of the summary, you’ll see:

  • Overall percentage score (e.g., 75%)

  • Total number of evaluations submitted

  • Number of interviewers who participated

  • When the last evaluation was completed

This provides a quick snapshot of how the candidate performed across all evaluations.

2. Evaluation Breakdown by Stage

If multiple evaluations were given at different stages, Recruitera groups them clearly.
For each stage (e.g., Screening, Interview, Technical Assessment), you will see:

  • Stage name

  • Average score for that stage

  • Number of evaluators

  • A progress bar visualizing the score

This helps you quickly identify in which stages the candidate performed strongest or weakest.

4. Quick Evaluation Insights

If your team uses Quick Evaluation (No / Not sure / Yes / Strong Yes):

  • These ratings are converted into numeric values

  • Included in the stage averages

  • Displayed visually inside the summary

This allows fast impressions to influence—but not overpower—structured evaluations.

5. Evaluation Template Results

If evaluators used a customized Evaluation Template, the summary reflects:

  • Weighted or unweighted final score

  • The interviewer who submitted it

  • Notes or comments (if visible based on permissions)

Detailed form responses remain accessible in each individual evaluation but the summary consolidates the final scores.

7. Why the Evaluation Summary Matters

  • Offers a single source of truth about candidate performance

  • Helps hiring managers make fast, informed decisions

  • Highlights consensus or disagreement among interviewers

  • Reduces bias by using structured, visible scoring

  • Makes it easy to compare candidates fairly
