Recruitera's notification settings let you control exactly which email alerts you receive for hiring activities — from new candidate applications to task deadlines and team mentions. In the Settings module, you can enable or disable each notification category individually, or turn all notifications on or off with one toggle. All users can manage this from My Account → Notifications.

Notification categories explained
Recruitera supports four notification categories, each covering a different part of your recruiting workflow:
Jobs & Applications
New Candidate Applications — get notified each time someone applies to a job you manage or are authorized to view
Assigned to New Job — get notified when a colleague adds you to a job's hiring team
Task Assignments
Assigned Tasks — get notified when someone assigns you a task on a specific candidate or pipeline stage
Assigned Evaluations — get notified when you are requested to evaluate a candidate at a specific stage
Deadlines & Reminders
Task Reminder — receive a reminder email one day before a task you are assigned to is due
Stage Limit Duration — get notified when a candidate is approaching or has exceeded the time limit for a stage you manage (off by default)
Evaluation Reminder — receive a reminder 24 hours before an evaluation you were requested to complete is due
Replies & Mentions
Candidate Replies — get notified when a candidate replies to an email you sent through Recruitera
Comment Mentions — get notified when a teammate mentions you in a comment on a candidate profile
💡 All notifications are on by default except Stage Limit Duration, which is off by default. If the master toggle is off, all individual toggles are disabled and no notifications are sent.

Why am I not receiving email notifications from Recruitera?
If you are not receiving email notifications from Recruitera, check three things: first, confirm the master toggle in My Account → Notifications is turned on.
