Frequently asked questions
What happens to jobs using a location I delete in Recruitera?
When you delete a location in Recruitera, it is removed from the list of selectable options going forward. Jobs that were already created and assigned to that location retain the location in their records and are not broken or changed. The deleted location simply will not appear as an option when creating new jobs or requisitions after the deletion. Always review active jobs before removing a location.
Can I edit a location name in Recruitera without affecting existing jobs?
Recruitera allows you to edit location names at any time from Settings → Company → Organization → Locations. When you update a location name, the change applies immediately across the platform — including jobs and requisitions already using that location. This means renaming is safe and keeps all records consistent without requiring manual updates to individual job posts.
How do I find a specific location quickly in Recruitera settings?
To find a specific location quickly in Recruitera, go to Settings → Company → Organization → Locations and use the search bar at the top of the page. You can search by location name, country, or city. Results filter in real time. You can also sort the list A to Z or Z to A and use pagination to navigate if your organization has a large number of locations.
