How to Invite a New Team Member in Recruitera

Learn how to invite a new team member to Recruitera — assign the right role from day one so they have exactly the access they need.

Recruitera's team invitation feature lets Admins add new users to the platform and assign them the right role from the start — so they have exactly the access they need from day one. Phone numbers are optional and support international formats, making it easy to add team members from across the MENA region and beyond. This is an Admin-only action in Recruitera.

Before you start

  • Required role: Admin only

  • Where to find it: Settings → Team Management → Team Members tab

  • Prerequisite: Make sure your departments are configured in Settings → Company → Organization before adding team members, so you can assign them to the right department

How to invite a new team member in Recruitera

  1. Go to Settings → Team Management → Team Members tab.

  2. Click + New Member in the top-right corner.

  3. Fill in the team member's details:

    • Full Name

    • Email Address — used for login and notifications

    • Job Title

    • Department

    • Phone Number — optional, supports international formats (e.g. +201012345678, +971501234567)

  4. Assign a role:

    • Admin — full access to all Recruitera modules including Settings, billing, and team management

    • Recruiter — can manage jobs, candidates, and workflows but cannot access company-wide settings

    • Hiring Manager — can view and evaluate candidates assigned to their jobs, approve requisitions for their department

  5. Click Submit.

The new team member will receive an invitation email with a link to set up their account and log in to Recruitera.

💡 Recruitera supports international phone number formats — no strict country code restrictions. Add team members from Egypt, UAE, KSA, or anywhere else with their local format.

How do I add a new user to my Recruitera account?

To add a new user to Recruitera, go to Settings → Team Management → Team Members and click + New Member. Fill in their name, email, job title, department, and optional phone number. Assign a role — Admin, Recruiter, or Hiring Manager — and click Submit. The new user will receive an email invitation to set up their account. Only Admin users can invite new team members.

What role should I assign to a new team member in Recruitera?

In Recruitera, assign Admin to HR leads or system owners who need full platform access. Assign Recruiter to team members who manage day-to-day hiring — posting jobs, managing candidates, and scheduling interviews. Assign Hiring Manager to department heads or interviewers who need to evaluate candidates and approve requisitions for their department but do not need access to settings or company-wide data.

Can I add a team member without a phone number in Recruitera?

Recruitera makes phone number optional when inviting a new team member. You can leave it blank and the invitation will still be sent successfully. If a team member joins from an international location, Recruitera accepts phone numbers in any format including country codes — for example +201012345678 for Egypt or +971501234567 for UAE.
