Recruitera's source tag settings let Admins define where candidates come from — so every candidate added to the system is tracked to their original sourcing channel. Source tags power the Candidates Report, giving you visibility into which channels are generating the most qualified hires. This is an Admin-only action in Recruitera.

How source tags work across Recruitera
Recruitera automatically assigns source tags based on how a candidate enters the system. Candidates who apply through your career page are tagged with your career page as the source. Candidates who apply via a referral link are tagged with that link's source label. When recruiters add candidates manually, they select the source tag from the list you configure here. All source data flows into the Candidates Report for analysis.
Frequently asked questions
What are source tags used for in Recruitera?
Source tags in Recruitera track where each candidate originated — whether that is LinkedIn, Wuzzuf, a referral, a career fair, or a direct application. This data powers the Candidates Report, which shows you how many candidates each source generated, how many progressed through the pipeline, and how many were ultimately hired. Use source tag data to identify your highest-performing sourcing channels and allocate your recruitment budget accordingly.
How do I track candidates from different sourcing channels in Recruitera?
To track candidates from different sourcing channels in Recruitera, go to Settings → Workflow → Source Tags and create a tag for each channel you use — for example LinkedIn, Wuzzuf, Employee Referral, or Job Fair. When recruiters add candidates manually, they select the appropriate source tag. For candidates applying through referral links, the source is assigned automatically based on the link's source label configured in the job's Referral tab.
Can I see which sourcing channels perform best in Recruitera?
Recruitera's Candidates Report shows sourcing channel performance across all your jobs. The report breaks down candidates by source tag — showing how many came from each channel, how many progressed through the pipeline, and how many were hired. To get the most useful data, make sure all source tags are configured before your team starts adding candidates, and that manual candidate additions always include the correct source tag selection.
