How to Navigate the Candidate Pipeline in Recruitera

Understand the Recruitera job pipeline — learn the difference between Kanban and Table view, how to switch between them, and what each column in the table shows.

Recruitera's job pipeline gives you two ways to view and manage candidates inside a job — a Kanban board for a visual stage overview and a Table view for fast filtering, sorting, and comparison. Understanding how to switch between them and what each one offers helps you work through candidates more efficiently. Both views are available to Admins, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers.

Before you start

  • Available to: Admins, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers

  • Where to find it: Open any job → Pipeline tab

Kanban view vs. Table view

Recruitera supports two pipeline views for different working styles:

  • Kanban view — candidates are displayed as cards organized in columns by pipeline stage. Best for a visual overview of where candidates are across the hiring funnel.

  • Table view — candidates are displayed as rows in a sortable, filterable grid. Best for bulk review, shortlisting, and applying filters. This is where the full filter sidebar and search bar are available.

How to switch between Kanban and Table view

  1. Open a job and go to the Pipeline tab.

  2. Look for the view toggle in the top-right corner of the pipeline.

  3. Click the Table icon to switch to Table view or the Kanban icon to switch back.

💡 Filters and search are only available in Table view. If you need to filter or search candidates, switch to Table view first.

What the Table view columns show

Recruitera's Table view displays the following columns for each candidate:

  • Candidate Name — click to open the full candidate profile

  • AI Score — Recruitera's AI match score for the candidate against the job requirements

  • Stage — the current pipeline stage the candidate is in

  • Creation Date — the date the candidate was added to the pipeline

  • Evaluation Score (%) — the average score from all completed evaluations for this candidate

How to sort the Table view

Recruitera allows you to sort the candidate table by clicking any sortable column header:

  • AI Score — sort highest to lowest or lowest to highest

  • Creation Date — sort newest first or oldest first

Click the same column header again to reverse the sort order.

How to select candidates in bulk

In Table view, each row has a checkbox in the first column. Check individual rows or use the header checkbox to select all visible candidates. The selected count appears at the top of the table, allowing you to take bulk actions on the selection.

💡 Clicking a candidate row opens their full profile. To avoid accidentally opening a profile while selecting candidates in bulk, click the checkbox directly rather than the row.
