How Filters Persist in Recruitera

Learn how filters persist in Recruitera's pipeline — understand when your filter state is saved and when it resets so you never lose your shortlisting context.

Recruitera remembers your active filters and search terms when you navigate away from the pipeline and come back — so you do not lose your shortlisting context every time you open a candidate profile or switch between tabs. Understanding when filters persist and when they reset helps you work through candidate reviews more efficiently.

When filters persist in Recruitera

Recruitera retains your active filters and search terms in the following scenarios:

  • Opening a candidate profile — clicking a candidate row to open their profile and then returning to the pipeline restores your filter view exactly as you left it

  • Refreshing the page — filters persist per user and session even after a browser refresh

  • Switching between Kanban and Table view — your filters are saved in the background even when switching to Kanban, and reappear when you return to Table view

  • Navigating to another tab and returning — filters stay active when you leave the pipeline tab and come back within the same session

When filters reset in Recruitera

Filters are cleared in the following situations:

  • Clicking Clear All — manually removes all active filters

  • Removing individual filter chips — removes specific filters one at a time

  • Opening a different job — filters do not carry over between different jobs. Each job has its own independent filter state.

  • Logging out — filter state does not persist across separate login sessions

💡 If you return to the pipeline and your filters appear to have reset unexpectedly, check whether you accidentally clicked Clear All or navigated to a different job. Filter chips are visible at the top of the table whenever filters are active.

Frequently asked questions

Do my filters stay active when I open a candidate profile in Recruitera?

Recruitera preserves your active filters when you click into a candidate profile and then navigate back to the pipeline. Your filter view is restored exactly as you left it — the same filters, the same search term, and the same candidate list. This means you can review candidates one by one without reapplying your filters each time you return to the pipeline.

Do filters in Recruitera persist after a page refresh?

Recruitera stores your active filter state per user and session, so filters persist after a browser page refresh. If you accidentally refreshed the page while reviewing candidates, your filters should still be active when the pipeline reloads. Filters are cleared when you manually click Clear All, remove individual chips, or log out of your account.

Do my pipeline filters apply across all jobs in Recruitera?

Recruitera's pipeline filters are job-specific — they apply only within the job you are currently viewing and do not carry over to other jobs. Each job maintains its own independent filter state. If you switch to a different job, you will start with an unfiltered pipeline view. To filter across all jobs simultaneously, use the All Candidates view in the CRM module, which has its own set of cross-job filters.
