What is WhatsApp Hiring?
WhatsApp Hiring is a sourcing and communication channel built directly into Recruitera. It lets your company manage candidate conversations on WhatsApp — the channel your candidates actually use — without leaving your ATS.
Instead of recruiters using personal phones, your company gets its own dedicated WhatsApp Business number, connected to your META Business account and fully integrated into Recruitera.

Which jobs appear on WhatsApp Hiring?
WhatsApp Hiring does not automatically apply to all your jobs. You control which roles candidates can apply to via WhatsApp on a per-job basis.
To enable WhatsApp Hiring for a specific job:
Open the job — either when creating a new one or editing an existing one
Go to the Application Form step
Find the Apply via WhatsApp toggle and turn it on
Once enabled, that job will be visible and accessible to candidates through your company's WhatsApp channel. Jobs with the toggle turned off will not appear in the WhatsApp hiring flow — candidates who message in will not be routed to those roles.
Tip: This gives you full flexibility to use WhatsApp for high-volume or blue collar roles while keeping other roles on traditional application channels.
Who is it for?
WhatsApp Hiring is designed for two main hiring scenarios:
Blue collar hiring — factory, construction, logistics, F&B, retail roles where candidates don't use email or job boards. WhatsApp is their primary — often only — digital channel.
High-turnover white collar roles — sales, customer service, teller, and branch roles where speed matters and candidates respond faster on WhatsApp than email.

Before you get started
To use WhatsApp Hiring, you will need:
A META Business Portfolio — if you don't have one, you'll need to create it at business.facebook.com
A brand new phone number to register as your WhatsApp Business number — this number must have no prior WhatsApp account on it, personal or business
Admin access to your Recruitera account
Once you have these ready, head to Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp Hiring to connect.
