How to connect WhatsApp Hiring

You will be redirected to META to authorize the connection
Log in to your META Business account when prompted

You'll be redirected back to Recruitera — your WhatsApp Hiring integration is now active
What happens after you connect
Once connected, your company's WhatsApp number will appear under Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp Hiring. You'll see the number status, connection health, and a link to manage your templates.
Your next step is to create your first WhatsApp message template. Without at least one approved template, your bot cannot send messages to candidates. See Creating & Submitting WhatsApp Templates for the full guide.
Which jobs appear on WhatsApp Hiring?
WhatsApp Hiring does not automatically apply to all your jobs. You control which roles candidates can apply to via WhatsApp on a per-job basis.
To enable WhatsApp Hiring for a specific job:
Open the job — either when creating a new one or editing an existing one
Go to the Application Form step
Find the Apply via WhatsApp toggle and turn it on
Once enabled, that job will be visible and accessible to candidates through your company's WhatsApp channel. Jobs with the toggle turned off will not appear in the WhatsApp hiring flow — candidates who message in will not be routed to those roles.
Tip: This gives you full flexibility to use WhatsApp for high-volume or blue collar roles while keeping other roles on traditional application channels.
Can I connect more than one number?
Yes. If you hire for both blue collar and white collar roles, we recommend connecting two separate numbers — one for each segment. This lets you set up an Arabic-language bot for blue collar candidates and an English-language bot for white collar candidates independently.
To add a second number, repeat the connection steps above with a different phone number registered under the same META Business Portfolio.
Troubleshooting
I get an error when redirected to META — make sure you are logged into the correct META Business account before clicking Connect in Recruitera.
My number isn't showing up in META — verify that the number has been fully added and verified inside your META Business Portfolio before attempting to connect.
The connection fails after authorizing — try disconnecting and reconnecting. If the issue persists, contact your Recruitera account manager.
