Once your Career Site looks right, you publish it so candidates can see it — and you can add a general application call to action that collects open applications into a talent pool. Both live at the top of the Career Site editor. Saving and publishing require permission to manage the career page (Admins).
Before you start
Required role: permission to manage the career page (Admins)
Where to find it: Settings → Company → Career Site
How to publish or unpublish your Career Site
Open Settings → Company → Career Site.
In the top-right of the header, use the Published toggle to publish or unpublish your site. The status pill next to it shows whether the site is Published.
Click Visit site to open your live public careers page in a new tab.
💡 The Published toggle applies the moment you flip it — it doesn't wait for Save changes.
How to turn on general applications
In the rail, find General application.
Turn the toggle on to show a call to action that routes open applications to a pinned Talent Pool, so candidates can apply even when no specific job fits.
What applies instantly vs. on Save
The Published and General application switches take effect immediately when you flip them. Your section edits (branding, hero, values, testimonials, and so on) apply when you click Save changes. This means a work-in-progress edit can't accidentally go live before you're ready.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make my Career Site live in Recruitera?
Open Settings → Company → Career Site and turn on the Published toggle in the header. The status pill shows Published, and Visit site opens your live page. Turning the toggle off unpublishes the site.
What does the General application toggle do?
It adds a call to action on your Career Site that lets candidates submit an open application when no specific job matches. Those applications are routed into a pinned Talent Pool for your team to review.
Do I need to click Save changes after publishing?
No. The Published and General application toggles apply immediately. Save changes is only for your section edits, such as branding, hero, values, and testimonials.
