Job templates let a new job start with its details, team, and workflow already filled in, so you don't rebuild a common role from scratch each time. This requires a role with permission to manage templates & workflows (typically Admins).
Before you start
Required role: a role with the Manage templates & workflows permission (typically Admins)
Where to find it: Settings → Templates → Jobs
How to create a job template
Open Settings → Templates → Jobs and click + New template.
Fill in the job's details in the editor — such as the title, department, location, and work type — along with the rest of the job's setup you want pre-filled.
Save the template. It appears in the Jobs table with its department, locations, work type, and when it was last edited.
💡 Use the All collars filter and the search box to find templates quickly as your list grows.
