How to Edit, Rename, or Delete a Job Template in Recruitera

Learn how to edit, rename, or delete a job template in Recruitera — keep your reusable job setups current.

You can update a job template's details, rename it, or delete one you no longer use. This requires a role with permission to manage templates & workflows (typically Admins).

Before you start

  • Required role: a role with the Manage templates & workflows permission (typically Admins)

  • Where to find it: Settings → Templates → Jobs

How to edit or rename a job template

  1. Open Settings → Templates → Jobs and find the template in the table (use search or the All collars filter).

  2. Open the template's ⋯ menu on its row and choose to edit or rename it (or open the template to edit its details).

  3. Make your changes and save.

How to delete a job template

  1. Open the template's ⋯ menu and choose Delete.

  2. Confirm the deletion.

💡 Deleting a template doesn't affect jobs you already created from it — those are independent once created.

Frequently asked questions

Does editing a job template change existing jobs?

No. A template only pre-fills a job at the moment you create it. Editing the template affects future jobs started from it, not ones already created.
