Recruitera is built for collaboration — but not everyone needs the same level of access. That’s why roles and permissions help you control who can do what inside your workspace, keeping your process secure, organized, and efficient.
There are three main roles in Recruitera: Admin, Recruiter, and Hiring Manager.
Admin
The Admin is the system owner — the one who oversees and manages everything.
Usually, this role is assigned to your HR lead or platform administrator.
Main Access:
Full control over all Recruitera modules and company data.
Can invite, edit, or remove team members.
Configures company settings, workflows, requisition approvals, and integrations.
Can view and manage all jobs and candidates across departments.
Has visibility over analytics, billing, and platform configurations.
Recruiter
Recruiters handle the day-to-day operations of hiring — posting jobs, managing candidates, and coordinating interviews. They’re at the heart of your hiring flow.
Main Access:
Create and publish job posts.
Manage the full candidate pipeline (sourcing, reviewing, screening, shortlisting).
Schedule interviews and send emails directly from the system.
Collaborate with hiring managers and collect feedback.
Access analytics for their own jobs and candidates.
Limited Access:
Cannot edit company settings, workflows, or user permissions.
Hiring Manager
Hiring Managers are the decision-makers for their department. They don’t handle every step — but they step in where it matters most: evaluations and approvals.
Main Access:
View and evaluate candidates assigned to their jobs or departments.
Add feedback, notes, and scores during evaluations.
Approve or reject requisitions that belong to their department.
Join interviews and review submitted evaluations.
Limited Access:
Cannot create jobs or change workflows.
Can only view data related to their assigned jobs or teams.

Best Practice
When setting up your team:
Give Admins only to HR leaders or system owners.
Assign Recruiters to daily users who manage the hiring flow.
Add Hiring Managers for department-specific evaluation and approvals.
💡 This setup balances control and collaboration — keeping Recruitera organized while giving every role exactly what they need.
