How to Add a New Candidate

Updated over a week ago

You can add candidates to any job manually, by uploading a CV, or by importing a full list from a CSV file. This helps you quickly build your pipeline with sourced, referred, or manually added candidates.

Add a Candidate from the Job Pipeline

  1. Open the Job you want to add candidates to.

  2. Click the Add Candidate button on the top-right.

  3. Choose one of the available options:

Option 1: Manual Entry

Use this when you want to enter a candidate’s details yourself.

  1. Select Manual Entry.

  2. Fill in the candidate’s basic information (name, contact details, etc.).

  3. Upload a CV (optional).

  4. Click Add Candidate.

Perfect for adding referred candidates, walk-ins, or manually sourced talent.

Option 2: Upload CV File(s)

Use this when you have one or multiple CVs ready.

  1. Select CV File Upload.

  2. Upload one or many files at once.

  3. Recruitera extracts key details automatically (if parsing is enabled).

  4. Review and confirm each candidate.

Ideal when importing candidates from email, sourcing platforms, or job fairs.

Option 3: Import CSV File

Use this to add a large batch of candidates.

  1. Select Import CSV File.

  2. Upload your CSV file.

  3. Map fields to Recruitera’s structure.

  4. Review the list and confirm.

Best for migrating from other ATS tools or uploading large prospect lists.
