Besides Random and Sequential, two more distribution modes route applicants without splitting them evenly. Both are chosen under Auto-Distribute Candidates on the job's Team step.

Each applicant is assigned to the recruiter whose referral link they applied through. Every recruiter on the job gets their own share link — when a candidate applies via that link, that recruiter owns them. Good for tracking who sourced each applicant.

Applicants stay unassigned in a shared pool. Any recruiter on the job can open a candidate to claim them — the first to open takes ownership. Good for teams that prefer to pull work rather than have it pushed to them.
