Auto-distribution assigns each new applicant to a recruiter automatically, so nobody has to hand out candidates by hand. You turn it on per job.
Enable it on a job
Open the job and go to the Team step.
Turn on Auto-Distribute Candidates, then choose a distribution mode.
The four modes
Random Distribution — spread applicants evenly across the team (see Random).
Sequential Distribution — assign in recruiter order (see Sequential).
Referral Link and Open Pool — see Referral Link & Open Pool distribution.
💡 Smart distribution is a plan feature — if you don't see Auto-Distribute Candidates, it isn't enabled for your workspace. See also How to Auto-Distribute Candidates to Recruiters.
