Recruitera's password settings let you update your account password at any time from the Security tab in My Account. Changing your password regularly is one of the simplest ways to keep your recruiting data secure. All users — Admins, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers — can manage this independently without contacting support.

How to change your password in Recruitera
Click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select My Account from the dropdown.
Click the Security tab.
Click inside the Current Password field — the eye icon appears so you can reveal what you are typing.
Enter your Current Password.
Enter your New Password. It must include:
At least 6 characters
1 uppercase letter
1 lowercase letter
1 number
1 special character
Re-enter the new password in Confirm New Password.
Click Update Password.
Each password requirement turns green as you meet it, so you can track your progress in real time before saving.
Password validation and error messages
In the Settings module, Recruitera validates your password before allowing the change to go through. Here is what each error means and how to resolve it:
Current password is incorrect — the password you entered in the Current Password field does not match your existing password. Re-enter it carefully and try again.
Password requirements not met — your new password is missing one or more of the required criteria. Each unmet rule is shown in red below the field and turns green once satisfied.
Passwords do not match — the New Password and Confirm New Password fields do not match. Re-enter your new password in both fields to match exactly.
💡 The Update Password button stays grayed out until all fields are filled and all validation rules are met. If you leave the Security tab without saving, your password will not be changed.

How do I reset my password in Recruitera if I forgot it?
To reset a forgotten password in Recruitera, go to the login page at app.recruitera.ai and click Forgot Password. Enter your registered email address and Recruitera will send you a reset link. If you are already logged in and want to change your current password, go to My Account → Security → Update Password.
