Recruitera lets you block a candidate from applying to any of your company's jobs at the moment you disqualify them — so they're added to your Candidate Blacklist without a separate step. You can also add candidates to the blacklist directly from Settings; see How to View and Manage Your Candidate Blacklist in Recruitera.

How to blacklist a candidate during disqualification
Open the candidate in a job's pipeline.
Choose to disqualify the candidate and select a disqualification reason.
Turn on the option to also add the candidate to the blacklist, and confirm.
What happens after blacklisting a candidate
The candidate is disqualified from the current job with the reason saved.
They're added to your Candidate Blacklist in Settings → Company → Candidate Blacklist.
If they try to apply to any future job — through your career page, a referral, or a manual import — Recruitera blocks the application before they enter the pipeline.

How do I block a candidate from applying to future jobs in Recruitera?
Block a candidate either while disqualifying them — by also adding them to the blacklist in the disqualification flow — or directly from Settings → Company → Candidate Blacklist with Add to Blacklist. Once blocked, they can't apply to your jobs through the career page, referrals, or manual import.
Can a blacklisted candidate still apply to our jobs in Recruitera?
No. Recruitera matches applicants against your blacklist on their identifiers — email, phone, or national ID — and blocks a match before they enter your pipeline, whether they apply through the career page, a referral, or a manual import.
Where can I see all blacklisted candidates in Recruitera?
Go to Settings → Company → Candidate Blacklist. The table shows each candidate's name, email, phone, national ID, reason, and the date they were blocked, and you can search, sort, and page through it.
