Every candidate who ever applied to your company is still sitting in your database. AI Recommendations puts them back to work. Open a job, click Discover candidates, and Recruitera shows you the people who already match that job, based on its requirements and details.
Think of it as another sourcing channel, one you already own. Instead of starting every job from zero, you start with candidates you know, and some of them may have already passed interview stages with you before. That cuts your time to source a lot.
Where the recommendations come from
Recruitera looks across your whole candidate database, including:
Candidates who applied to other jobs
Candidates in your talent pools
General applications
It matches them against the job's requirements and details, and shows you the ones worth a look.
How to discover candidates for a job
Open the job and go to its Pipeline board (the Kanban view).
Click Discover candidates.
Browse the AI recommendations for this job.
For each candidate, choose what to do:
Add moves the candidate straight into the job's Sourced stage, ready for you to start the process.
Dismiss removes the candidate from the recommendations list you're looking at.
đĄ Candidates aren't notified when you add them to a job, so you decide when and how to reach out.
Who gets recommended, and who doesn't
Recruitera only recommends candidates it makes sense to call again. A candidate won't show up if:
They're already hired in your company.
They were disqualified for a company reason, like culture fit. Recruitera detects this and keeps them out of your recommendations.
Candidates disqualified for a job-specific reason can still show up. For example, someone rejected because they lacked a skill for one role may be a great fit for another, so they'll appear when they match.
Candidates who are active in another job's pipeline can be recommended too, unless they've already reached the hiring stage.
FAQ
Does the candidate know I added them to a job?
No. Nothing is sent to the candidate when you add them. They simply appear in the job's Sourced stage.
Where does an added candidate go?
Into the Sourced stage of the job's pipeline. From there you move them along like any other candidate.
What happens when I dismiss someone?
They're removed from the recommendations list you're viewing. Their profile stays in your database untouched.
Why don't I see someone I rejected before?
If they were disqualified for a company reason, such as culture fit, Recruitera leaves them out on purpose. Candidates rejected for a job-specific reason can still be recommended.
Is AI Recommendations free?
Yes, for now AI Recommendations is free for all Recruitera customers. Starting in 2027, it will be available on specific plans. Pricing is still being finalized, and we'll share the details with you before anything changes.
