Screening question sets are the questions you attach to a job's application form. You build them in a visual editor with sections and question types. This requires a role with permission to manage templates & workflows (typically Admins). (Screening questions were previously called "application forms.")
Before you start
Required role: a role with the Manage templates & workflows permission (typically Admins)
Where to find it: Settings → Templates → Screening Questions
How to create a screening questions template
Open Settings → Templates → Screening Questions and click + New template.
Give the set a name, then add questions. For each question, pick a type (for example Long answer, Single choice, or Scorecard) from the dropdown and enter the question text.
Toggle Required for questions that must be answered. Use the icons on each question to duplicate or delete it, and the handle (⋮⋮) to reorder.
Group related questions into sections, and use + Add Question to add more.
Save the template.
💡 Screening sets are for application forms — they don't score candidates. For scored assessments, use Evaluation Forms.
Frequently asked questions
Where does a screening questions template appear?
You attach it to a job, and its questions become part of that job's application form for candidates to answer.
Is this the same as an "application form"?
Yes — screening questions are what used to be called application forms. The feature and steps are the same, just renamed.
