Recruitera's application form settings let Admins update or remove existing application form templates. Keeping your forms current ensures candidates are asked the right questions — and that outdated forms do not appear as options when your team sets up new jobs. This is an Admin-only action in Recruitera.

How to edit an application form in Recruitera
Go to Settings → Templates → Application Forms.
Find the form using the search bar or scroll the list.
Click the Actions menu (⋯) next to the form.
Select Edit.
Update the form name, add or remove questions, reorder questions, or change required/optional settings.
Click Save Form.
💡 Editing an application form in Recruitera updates it going forward — jobs already using this form will use the updated version for new applicants. Candidates who already submitted applications before the edit retain their original answers unchanged.
How to delete an application form in Recruitera
Find the form in the list.
Click the Actions menu (⋯) → select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
💡 Before deleting an application form, check if it is currently assigned to any active jobs. If it is, new applicants to those jobs will not see an application form after deletion. Assign a different form to the affected jobs before deleting the original.

Does editing an application form affect candidates who already applied in Recruitera?
Recruitera preserves all application data submitted before a form edit. Candidates who already applied and filled out the form retain their original answers in their profile — those answers are not retroactively changed or deleted when you edit the form. The updated form only applies to new applicants going forward. This ensures historical application data stays accurate and intact.
What happens to jobs using an application form I delete in Recruitera?
When you delete an application form in Recruitera, any job currently assigned to that form will no longer show an application form to new candidates. Existing applications submitted through the deleted form are not affected — their data remains in candidate profiles. To avoid disrupting your application flow, assign a replacement form to all active jobs before deleting the original form from Settings → Templates → Application Forms.
Can I reorder questions in an existing application form in Recruitera?
Recruitera allows you to reorder questions inside any application form from the form editor. Open the form via Settings → Templates → Application Forms → Edit, then drag and drop questions to rearrange them in the order you prefer. Save the form to apply the new order. The updated question sequence applies to all future applications for jobs using that form.
