Recruitera's pipeline template settings let Admins create reusable hiring stage sequences that can be applied to new jobs instantly. Instead of building stages from scratch every time a job is created, your team selects a pipeline template and the full stage structure — with automations, tasks, and assignments — is set up automatically. This is an Admin-only action in Recruitera.
Before you start
Required role: Admin only
Where to find it: Settings → Templates → Pipeline Templates
How to create a pipeline template in Recruitera
Go to Settings → Templates → Pipeline Templates.
Click + New Pipeline Template.
Enter a Template Name (e.g. "Standard Hiring Process", "Technical Roles Pipeline", "Executive Search Pipeline").
Add your pipeline stages in order:
Click + Add Stage and enter the stage name
Set the stage type — defines how the stage is categorized in reports (e.g. Screening, Interview, Assessment, Offer)
Configure any automated actions for the stage — emails, tasks, questionnaires, or evaluation assignments
Reorder stages by dragging them into position.
Click Save Template.
💡 Recruitera allows Admins to configure automation rules per stage inside the template — so when a recruiter creates a job using this template, all automations are pre-configured and ready to use immediately.
How pipeline templates are used in Recruitera
Pipeline templates appear as options during job creation. When a recruiter selects a template, the full stage structure is applied to the new job automatically. The recruiter can still customize individual stages after applying the template — it is a starting point, not a locked structure. Using templates ensures consistency across jobs and reduces setup time significantly for teams posting many jobs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a reusable hiring pipeline in Recruitera?
To create a reusable hiring pipeline in Recruitera, go to Settings → Templates → Pipeline Templates and click New Pipeline Template. Name the template and add your stages in order — each with a stage name, type, and optional automated actions. Save the template and it becomes available to your team when creating new jobs. Recruiters select the template during job setup and the full pipeline is applied automatically.
Can I include automated actions in a pipeline template in Recruitera?
Recruitera supports including automated actions inside pipeline template stages. When building a template, you can configure each stage to automatically send an email, assign a task, trigger a questionnaire, or request an evaluation when a candidate enters that stage. These automations are saved as part of the template and apply automatically to every job that uses it — eliminating the need to set up automations manually for each new job.
Can recruiters modify a pipeline after applying a template in Recruitera?
Recruitera allows recruiters to customize a job's pipeline after applying a template during job creation. The template provides the default structure — stages, types, and automations — but recruiters can add, remove, or reorder stages, adjust automations, and change stage assignments before publishing the job. Changes made to an individual job's pipeline do not affect the template itself or other jobs using it.
