What is the AI Score in Recruitera?

The AI Score is Recruitera's automatic match score for each candidate against the job's requirements. It is calculated based on the candidate's CV and profile data compared to the job description and criteria. The higher the score, the stronger the match. AI Scores are generated automatically when a candidate enters the pipeline — no manual setup required.

💡 On Enterprise plans, Admins can adjust the weight of different scoring criteria using the AI-Score Weight Adjustment setting — so the score reflects your organization's specific priorities rather than a generic match algorithm.

What is the Evaluation Score in Recruitera?

The Evaluation Score is the average score calculated from all completed evaluation forms submitted by interviewers for a specific candidate. It reflects the hiring team's collective assessment of the candidate across the evaluation criteria defined in the evaluation form template. It displays as a percentage.

How to sort by AI Score or Evaluation Score

  1. Switch to Table view in the pipeline.

  2. Click the AI Score or Evaluation Score column header.

  3. Click once to sort descending (highest first), click again to sort ascending (lowest first).

Sorting by AI Score descending instantly puts your best-matched candidates at the top of the list — the fastest way to start reviewing without reading every application.

Frequently asked questions

How does Recruitera calculate the AI Score?

Recruitera's AI Score is calculated by comparing the candidate's CV and profile data against the job description, required skills, and criteria defined when the job was created. The score is generated automatically when the candidate enters the pipeline. On Enterprise plans, Admins can adjust scoring weights in Settings to prioritize certain criteria — for example weighting experience more heavily than education for specific role types.

What does the Evaluation Score percentage mean in Recruitera?

The Evaluation Score in Recruitera's Table view shows the average percentage score across all evaluation forms submitted for that candidate. If three interviewers submitted evaluations scoring the candidate at 80%, 70%, and 90%, the Evaluation Score displayed is 80%. A candidate with no completed evaluations will show no Evaluation Score until at least one evaluation is submitted.

Can I filter candidates by AI Score range in Recruitera?

Recruitera's current filter sidebar does not include a range filter for AI Score — but you can sort the Table view by AI Score descending to surface the highest-scoring candidates at the top. To focus on a specific score range, sort by AI Score and then scroll to the score threshold you want to start from. Combine with other filters to further narrow your shortlist by stage, source, or screening question answers.
