Finding the right candidate shouldn't depend on guessing the exact word they used in their CV. AI search understands the meaning behind what you're looking for, so you can describe the person you need the way you'd say it to a colleague, and Recruitera finds the closest matches in your database.
Keyword search vs. AI search
A normal keyword search looks for the exact word you type. If you search for "recruiter", you only get CVs that literally say "recruiter".
AI search (also called semantic search) looks for the meaning instead. Say you're hiring a recruiter. Candidates might describe the same job as:
Recruiter
Talent Acquisition
People Partner
Recruitment Specialist
All four can mean the same role and the same qualifications. AI search understands that, so you find all of them with one search instead of four.
Which search does my company have?
Each company uses one type of search, depending on its subscription. Your search bar works either with keyword search (including Boolean AND, OR, NOT) or with AI search, not both. If AI search is active for your company, it replaces keyword search everywhere you search for candidates.
Where you can use it
When AI search is active, every candidate search bar uses it automatically. That includes:
The Candidates list (your whole database)
The candidates inside a job
The candidates inside a talent pool
There's no separate button or mode to switch on. You just use the search bar as usual.
How to search with AI
Open the Candidates list, a job, or a talent pool.
Click the search bar.
Describe the candidate you're looking for in plain language, as if you were writing a prompt.
Recruitera searches your database and shows the candidates closest to what you described.
For example, you could type:
"Sales person who worked at an international company, with more than 3 years of experience and strong leadership skills"
AI search looks for every one of those qualifications across your candidates and brings back the people who fit.
đĄ You can search in English or Arabic, whichever feels more natural to you.
Tips for better results
Describe the person, not just a title. Add experience, industry, and skills to narrow things down.
Write it like you'd say it. Full sentences work fine. No need for AND, OR, or quotation marks.
Start broad, then get specific. If you get too many results, add one more detail to your description.

Can I search in Arabic?
Yes. You can describe the candidate in English or Arabic.
Is AI search free?
Yes, for now AI search is free for all Recruitera customers. Starting in 2027, it will be available on specific plans. Pricing is still being finalized, and we'll share the details with you before anything changes.
